GM engine computers

GM E38, E67 + E92 ECMs

Cloning, unlocks and programming for GM's E-series engine control modules, found in many LS- and LT-powered trucks, SUVs, Corvettes, Camaros and Cadillacs.

What we do

  • Clone your original ECM to a replacement so it starts and runs with your keys
  • Unlock the ECM for HP Tuners or other tuning software
  • Program a used ECM to your VIN and options
  • Recover an ECM that failed during a flash

Common reasons people ship us an ECM

  • Water or heat damage, and the car needs a replacement that matches
  • A used ECM from a swap or a salvage yard that won't start the car
  • A failed tune or flash that left the ECM unresponsive
  • An engine swap that needs the ECM set up for the new combination

Questions

Common questions

Will my keys still work after a clone?

Yes. A clone carries over the security data from your original ECM, so the car sees the replacement as the original.

Do you tune the engine too?

We program and unlock; the calibration stays with you or your tuner. That keeps us neutral for the tuners and shops who send us work.

What if my original ECM is completely dead?

We often can still read it on the bench. If it can't be read, we'll tell you before doing anything else and talk through options.
