Common questions
Will the car start with my original keys?
Yes. A clone carries over the security pairing, so the replacement DME works with your existing keys and modules.
Can you clone the newer MG1 / MD1 DMEs?
Some, depending on the exact unit and what it needs on the bench. Send the part number and we'll confirm before you ship.
My DME has water damage. Can you still clone it?
Often yes, if the memory can still be read. We'll check it on arrival and tell you before doing any paid work.
